Tix for Tots Volunteer Activities

Volunteering for Tix for Tots puts you right in the center of our mission: to provide children in need with the opportunity to attend community cultural and sporting events. Tix for Tots is a new but growing nonprofit and volunteers are at the heart and soul of what we do. In fact, if it were not for volunteers we would not be able to offer over 60,000 priceless experiences to children who so desperately need hope, inspiration, and a sense of possibilities.

Board Member
Founded in 2000, Tix for Tots has been growing each year in the number of tickets distributed and the number of partnering organizations. We are looking for board members who can identify with the mission of the organization and make positive contributions towards the organization's goals. Board members will help shape, define and execute upon the strategic direction of Tix for Tots. Tix for Tots is a working Board of Directors, meaning members execute strategy as well as define it.

Corporate Suite Host
The Corporate Suite Host is an important part of what we do. You are the face of Tix for Tots at our partner venues. This volunteer position is vital to maintaining strong relationships with our corporate and charitable partners. In this role you will supervise the use of a corporate suite at an event. By being at an event it gives us the opportunity to showcase what Tix for Tots is all about.

Corporate/Community Champion
The Corporate/Community Champion facilitates partnership activities between corporate and community organizations and Tix for Tots. This can occur right in your workplace or within community organizations you are already involved with. You will receive materials on the organization’s mission, goals of the Corporate/Community Champion program, and tasks related to the duties expressed below. Tix for Tots will provide on-going support in facilitating partnership activities and leading outreach efforts. Champions help further the mission of Tix for Tots and help engage community organizations working with children in need. Champions enhance personal organizational and leadership skills and make contact with other corporate/community leaders as well as community organizations working with children in need.

Special Event Committee
Special Event Committee members will participate in planning and execution of Tix for Tots special events. Committee members will be assingned to one or more subcomittees to assist in specific areas. These subcomittees include: Sponsorship/Silent Auction Logistics Promotion/Marketing Event Day Support

Ticket Courier
The Ticket Courier will periodically perform pickups and dropoffs to and from Tix for Tots offices to partner agencies, venues, and the post office.

Venue Event Coordinator
The Venue Event Coordinator is an important part of what we do. You are the face of Tix for Tots at our partner venues. This volunteer position is vital to maintaining strong relationships with our venue and charitable partners. In this role you will facilitate the distribution of donated tickets to low-income children and their chaperones. By being at an event it gives us the opportunity to showcase what Tix for Tots is all about.
